Aegis Instruments Opens in the UK

Aegis is proud to announce the opening of the Aegis Instruments Ltd office in the United Kingdom.

Aegis Instruments UK is the second recent expansion into international markets, and will provide greater support for existing UK and European customers. This expansion will also introduce utility and telecommunications customers to the unique Aegis Instruments product range, including the Datacell portfolio.

The DataCell range is a series of self-powered 4-input data-loggers with 2-way communications capability via a GPRS interface. Up to 2 million data intervals can be logged, alarms and reports can be generated via email or SMS, and the units can be configured and queried remotely. Other features available include GPS for positional information, intrinsic safety for hazardous zones, and a ruggedised housing suitable for sewer environments. These products are ruggedised for remote applications and are designed to meet the ‘set and forget’ mantra, particularly suitable for water, waste water, and environmental monitoring.
