UKTI ‘Meet the Buyer’ event featured at WWEM
The organisers of WWEM 2010, which will be held in Telford on 10th & 11th November, are delighted to announce the involvement of the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) at the UK’s premier water and environmental monitoring event.
The UKTI will supply experts from around Europe who are taking part in two key activities that will support an international dimension to WWEM 2010. These include a ‘Meet the International Buyer Event’, where visitors will have access to 24 buyers from across Europe who are looking to purchase and source products, and a workshop titled ‘Developing Your International Business’.
David Connolly, Environment & Water Team Project Manager for Europe at UKTI, said: “Our events give visitors the unique opportunity to receive a one-to-one briefing from UKTI, covering political, economic and water industry specific opportunities, as well as meet buyers who need to purchase products and services.
Delegates will also be able to learn about the wide range of planned UKTI activities both here and overseas that aim to help promote UK expertise overseas and assist companies in taking advantage of the opportunities these markets offer.
UKTI Commercial Officers will also advise on a range of topics including political/economic overview for countries including Portugal, Turkey and Russia, niche sector opportunities and advice on market entry.
Attendance for these UKTI events is free for all visitors to WWEM. To book an appointment or to meet commercial officers please log onto www.meetbuyers-wwem2010.com
Attendence for the UKTI event is free of charge.
